The second monthly ~ting of the Mayor and Village Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, October 27, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. in the Village Hall. Present: Mayor Hinzmann, Tr. Napolec~, Tr/ DiDomizio, Tr, Shay, Tr. Traver a~d Atty. Viglotti. Absent: Trustees Usavich and Bain. Minutes: Mi/lutes of the last regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees held had been duplicated and previously presented' to Board members. 10-13-93 Tr. DiDomizio reported there was one correction on page 3 in reference to the ~ requsting for re-zoning. Request .should be frcm R7.5 %o Neighborhood BusiD~ss. Motion by Tr. Traver, seconded by Tr. Shay that the above minutes be accepted as written and corrected. Carried. Agenda: Adopt resolution designa .~ing offices to be filled at the next General Village election: Motion by Tr. Shay, seconded by Tr. Traver that the above resolution be adopted, text of which follows the minutes of this ~n~cting. Carried. A~0~t resolution establishin9 Election Districts: Motion by Tr. DiDomizio,. seconded by Tr. Shay that the above resolu~_ion be adopted, text of which follows minutes of this meeting. Carried. R~.~3e.~t from Park Cha~rra~n, John Regan, to discuss leaf r~uoval frcm Mesier Park: Mr. Regan reported Highway has no intention of pickling up leaves in the Park other than assisting with curbside disposal. He inquired if Board would hire scmeone t~ carryout t~J-~ de~il as same cant be acc~,~lished by Park personnel as part of his regular duties. Mr. Regan reported they run into the same probl~n every year when this clause is not included in contract. Discussion followed on other methods of removal by possibly utilizing Village forces or CO~,,,'~D_ity Service personnel. Mr. Regan reported service has to be accc(~lished twice for a complete job and Mr. Tod~ro (i~3Sten COrlStruction) has offered to perform ntb_is service for $1,000. Motion by Tr. Napoleon, seconded by Tr. Traver that the Park Co~mission be authorized to engage the services of Anston Construction for leaf removal at Mesier Park, to the satisfaction of the Cc~anission, at a price of $1,000. Carried. Motion by Tr. Napoleon, seconded by Tr. Shay that Michael Goebel be hired, as needed, this Winter season, for snow blowing operations at Village owned properties. Carried.
