The regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, <br />November 10, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. in the Village Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Hinzmmnn, Tr. Napoleon, Tr. DiDcmizio, Tr. Shay, Tr. Traver, <br />Tr. Bain, Tr. Usavich and Atty. Viglotti. <br /> <br />Minutes: <br />Minutes of the last meeting of the Village Board of Trustees held Oct. 27, 1993 <br />had been duplicated and previously presented to Board members. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr~ D~zio, seconded by Tr. Shay that the above minutes be acc~ted <br />as written. Carried. <br /> <br />Agenda: <br /> <br />Report on Waldbaum's Sewer contract: <br /> <br />Atty. Viglotti reported at the last meeting he discussed standardizing contract as <br />we do with all other users by assessing the water rate times a 2.3 ratio instead <br />of the cons~er price index. <br />He stated they were agreeable to this change and ~ will benefit the Village and <br />they will also increase the size of the holding tank. <br /> <br />Atty. Viglotti reported present contract expires in 1995 and, instead of a ten <br />year option, they are reques~-~ng a straight 8 to 10 year contract, without a <br />two year pull-out. <br /> <br />Tr. Napoleon urged we utilize whichever ratio tbmt guarantaas the Village <br />more incc~e. <br /> <br />Discussion followed on rate policy and Tr. Bain to confer with Wa~.ter Department <br />to resolve this issue and Atty. Viglotti to f~ize modification in contract. <br /> <br />Report on Market StreD. t prop~__rties:. <br /> Owner, Mr. Jack ~'euo~gan, aa~resseu ~t=cting stating he had a contract with a <br /> reputable Tru eking firm for the storeage of road worthy tractor trailers at <br /> the site. <br /> He reported Firm owner~w~s issued a citation by the Zoning .Er~.orc~nent Offi.cer <br /> for violating the loc~rta~ninq to Abandoned & Junked vehicles and they, zn <br /> turn, notified Mr. Fedigan that t~ucks would be removed and relocated at another <br /> site within 30 days. <br /> He displayed pictures as to tb~ location of the trailers on his property and <br /> stated intent of the law was good for the Village proper. <br /> <br /> Mr. Fediqan reported he and his brother have been trying to ma/nt~n property <br /> since their beginnings in 1975 and have been instrzF~ntal towards the relocat- <br /> ion Of new businesses at the complex. <br /> <br /> He stated he doesn't know how law can be rect4fied but is not appropriate for <br /> his type of business. <br /> <br /> He stated they have a UDC application pending, through the efforts of Conuunity <br /> Services, for a feasability study, and the possible construction of another bridge <br /> across the Wappingers Creek. <br /> <br /> <br />
