A Public Hearing on the proposed 1994-95 Village budget was held on Wednesday, <br />April 13, 1994 at 7:15 P.M. in the Village Hall. <br /> <br />Present: .Mayor Hin~nann, Tr. DiPomizio, Tr. cerino, Tr. Shay, Tr. Traver, <br />Tr. Bain, Tr. Heming~ay. <br /> <br />Notice of Public ~aring published in W. & S.D. News on April 6, 1994. <br /> <br />Mayor Hinzmann reported total Appropriations were as follc~s: <br /> <br />Village ($2,676,326), Water ($924,070), Rmsidential Garbage District ($341,000.), <br />for a total of $4,304,522.00 <br /> <br />He reported Estimated revenues were $2,114,938.00 and the balance for Tax levy <br />was $2,189,584.00.~ with a proposed tax rate was $134.45 per thousand. <br /> <br />Mayor Hin~nann reported proposed tax rate includes the purcb~se of a Fire truck <br />and, excluding same, rate would be approximately $118.00. per thousand. <br />He also reported budget was tentative and still h~d to be finalized. <br /> <br />M~%yor Hinzmann stated Village hasnt received a definite c~,~,~tmant frc~ the <br />State regarding Revenue sharing. <br /> <br />Mrs. Bovino inquired as to the status of the Garbage contract and Mayor <br />Hin~nann replied Royal Carting has agreed to extend same at the same rate. <br /> <br />Mrs. Bovino stated Village should be seeking lower prices by bidding out <br />this contract. <br /> <br />Mr. Usavich inquired if it was the intent of the Board to purchase a new <br />Fire truck outright. <br /> <br />Mayor Hinzmann replied this was the way it was presented by the Fire Chief <br />but s~ne wasn't feasible as ~s would raise the ~x rate considerably, cc~ <br />to long term bonding. <br /> <br />Since no one else present expressed an interest to be heard, Mayor Hinm~ann <br />closed the Public Hearing at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br />
