Regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on 11-9-83 at <br />7:30 P.M. in the American Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Synnett, Tr. Greco, Tr. Ciopma, Tr. Costa, Tr. Mazocbi, <br />Tr. Perrego and Atty. Lyons. <br />Tr. Cater absent due to illness.. <br /> <br /> Minutes: <br />Minutes of last regular meeting held 10-12-83 had been duplicated and <br />'pre~iously presented to Board members. <br /> <br /> Motion by Tr. Mazochi~ seconded by Tr. Perrego that the above minutes be <br /> accepted as written. Carried. <br /> <br />Minutes of Workshop session on 11-1-83 - Re: Route g pr.o~ect: <br />Tr. Cioppa reported 4th paragraph should read 20,000 <br />He stated we also recommended a channel not be dug but same be replaced with <br />dredging. <br />Tr. Cioppa reporHed he thought water problem was resolved rather than a .legal <br />problem. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Greco, seconded by Tr. Costa that the above minutes be accepted <br />as corrected. Carried. <br /> <br />R~port from merchants on lower West Main St.: <br /> <br />Mrs. Barrister discussed incident in the Village which occured on 10-30-83, <br />in which her son was hurt. <br /> <br />Tr. Perrego reported this under investigation and results will be forthcoming. <br />He stated he conferred with Police Chief and action will be taken. <br /> <br />Rita Szotyori, 8 West Main St., reported they were disturbed with vandelism and <br />wanted some kind c~ p~ov[sion as senior citizens were being harassed. <br />She stated on 10-30-83 about 30'teenagers gathered in the area causing. <br />vandelism and damage to property. She reported other incidents occurred and <br />they were concerned with what was happening. <br /> <br />Motion by Ir. Greco, seconded by Tr. Costa that the Police Comm. be directed <br />to look into the above matters and report back. <br /> <br />Mr. Herb Wexler, owner of Bell Office Equipment~ 1 West Main St., reported <br />windows have been blown out which cost in excess of $400. to replace and <br /> Police knew in advance the window was to be destroyed. <br />He stated there was vandelism in the area and nothing was being done. <br /> <br />Tr. Costa proposed a curfew to reduce vandelism. <br /> <br />Mrs. Bryson reported there was disrespect for Police and property and <br />discussed incidents reported to Police. <br /> <br /> <br />
