A workshop meeting was held at the Village Hall on <br />Spring Street at 7:00 p.m. en Monday, December 19,1983. <br />Present: Mayor Synnett, Trustees Cioppa, Costa, Greco, Mazochi, <br />and Perrego; Att'y Lyons, Water Commissioners Berinato, Catalano, <br />and Chase; Engineers Paggi and Martin. <br /> <br />Also present: Richard Barger of Presidential Park. <br /> <br />Re Creekview Court <br /> <br /> Mayor Synnett stated that the road, Creekview Court has <br />net been accepted as village street, and will there2ore, not <br />be plowed this winter since certain work has not, as yet, been <br />completed. The Mayor referred to a "punchlist" of work still <br />to be done. <br /> Mr. Barger stated that he was responsible for the land <br />and the road, but that the lots had been sold to Creekview <br />Construction which was responsible for the buildings. <br /> <br /> T~stee Mazechi expressed concern with a manhole possibly <br />locat.ed under the sidewalk. Mr. Barger said that he believed <br />the manhole was located between the curb and the sidewalk, but <br />that he would have it dug out so that it could be mere clearly <br />located. <br /> The Mayor mentioned drainage re the houses on Clapp Avenue; <br />Mr. Barger stated that the contractor had taken care of the <br />footing drains last Friday; and that he had consulte~ with a <br />mason and was advised that certain work on the curbs and side- <br />walks could not be done until the spring. <br /> <br /> Trustee Greco stated that the Village wanted two lights <br />put up on the street. Mr. Barger stated that he was ~awar~ <br />of a requirement for street lights, since the agreemen~ was <br />for Central Hudson to install utilities undergr~Bd, but that <br />he would check it out. <br /> Trustee Cesta stated that a fence would have to be installed <br />along the southern side of the Upper Henry Street property <br />line to prevent small children from being injured. Mr. Barger <br />said he would check with A-1 Fence. <br /> The Water Commissioners stated that they would send <br />Mr. Benedetto to check the valves. <br /> <br /> The Board also expressed concern with an open catchbasin; <br />Mr. Barger stated that the catchbasin top was on order; he <br />also stated that his attorney was in the process of drafting <br />the easements. <br /> <br /> Attorney Lyons stated that if the Village was going to <br />accept the street before the work was completed, he would <br />need the deeds, the title insurance policy and a perfo~-mance <br />bend specifying the work still to be done and the projected <br />completion date. <br /> <br /> Discussion followed on whether NLr. Barger would present <br />a performance bond or a letter of credit. E~gineer Paggi <br />pointed out that the Village preferred the perfoz-mance bond. <br /> Mr. Barger's attorney to forward the necessary papers <br />to Attorney Lyons and to consult with him about a performsnce <br />bond. <br /> <br /> <br />
