A Special meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on 5-B-84 at 7:00 P.M. in the American Legion Hall. Present: Mayor Synnett, Tr. Greco, Tr. Cioppa, Tr. Costa, Tr. Mazochi, Tr. Carey, Tr. Perrego) Atty. Lyons and ~ng. Paggi RePort on bon~s fox Firehouse additionsi Atty. Lyons reported necessary bonds have been received from the Bonding Attorneys.'Hr reported over ail cost of the project was $250)000., with $237,500. cominG from serial bonds and $12)500. from budget allocation. Atty. Lyons reported 5 affirmative votes would be needed to adopt the bo~d issue. He stated same would not become effective~ntil 30 days following publication and if a petition'.is filed within that period signed by 20~ of last years' registered voters, the VillaGe would have to conduct a referendum. Atty. Lyons also reported there was a problem with the deed the W.T. Garner acquired for the adjoining lot and attorneys will resolve same. Motion by Tr. Mazochi, seconded by Tr. Carey that the bond resolution for the additions to the Firehouses be adopted: Roll call vote: Tr. Cioppa (ap), Tr. Carey (a~e), Tr. Perre~o (aye), Tr. Costa (aye), Tr. Greco (aye), Tr. Mazochi (aye),Mayo: Synnett (aye). Resolution unanimously adopted. Text of resolution immediately follows the minutes of this meeting. Action on bids for...Firehouse .~dditions and Improvements: Village Clerk reported bids for the above were publicly opened and read on April 11) 1984 at 11:00 A.M. Trustees Greco and Mazochi in attendance. Motion by Tr. Mazochi, seconded by Tr. Carey that the following bids be accepted: General construction: Eberhard Builders ilectrical: H.V,A.C. Plumbing D. Wilson Electric A.P. Plumbing A.P. Plumbing $168,000o00 26,307.00 23,385.00 5,100.00 Also perspective contractors will be advised that centracts will not be signed until referendum expires on 6-3-84, provided a permissive referendum is not called.
