<br />Minutes following the 11/14/2007 Public Hearings and Village Board <br />Meeting <br /> <br />PH <br />Tax Exemption for Cold War Veterans “Local Law #9”. <br />UBLIC EARING <br /> <br /> <br />The Clerk read the Local Law and Hearing Notice. Village Attorney Viglotti read the law <br />and explained in some detail exactly what percentages of tax would be reduced and who <br />it would effect. Mayor Alexander asked if there were any other questions. None replied. <br />Motion by Trustee Marshall to close the public hearing. Seconded by Trustee Cerino. <br />Carried. <br /> <br />PH <br /> Creating Chapter 97 of the Code of the Village of Wappingers <br />UBLIC EARING <br />Falls, Municipal Storm Water Management Proposed “Local law #10” . <br /> <br />The Clerk read the Meeting Notice. Attorneys Viglotti and Horan explained the law as a <br />state mandate and required to be adopted by 1/8/2008. Some discussion relative to the <br />small property owners took place. Attorney Horan pointed out that it primarily effected <br />large development of sizes in excess of 1 acre of disturbance. Attorney Horan also said <br />that the Stormwater Management Officer must be village employee but may take <br />direction from the appointed engineering firm. Carried. <br />A. <br />UTHORIZATION TO PAY BILLS AS PER APPROVED WARRANTS <br />Motion by Trustee Cerino that bills be paid as audited by himself and by Trustee <br />Weitlich. Seconded by Trustee Marshall.
