Following is the agenda: <br />Public hearing on the request of Barbara Tomlins, 16 West Street seeking the following <br />area variances to be able to legitimize the addition over the upper part of her existing <br />house to maintain a single family residential use: (1) total lot coverage – allowed is 30% <br />or 1,657.8 sq. ft. and existing is 2,196 sq. ft., (2) front yard setback – required is 15 ft. and <br />provided is 3'5”, (3) side yard setback – required is 8 ft. and provided is 3'1” but house is <br />on a corner and according to Section 151-11(C) “...on a corner lot – the required side yard <br />abutting a street shall be at least equal to the required front yard....” - therefore required on <br />the Downey Avenue side will be 15 ft., (4) lot depth – required is 100 ft. and provided is 93 <br />ft. <br />Public hearing on the request of Mid Hudson Park Management seeking an area <br />variance from Section 151-12(G)(2) which refers you to Section 151-12(H)(2)(a) of the <br />Zoning Code to be able to have a monument sign at Oak Tree Gardens Apartment <br />Complex located at 120 Channingville Road which is in a RM-1 zone. <br />Public hearing on the request of The Great American Sign Company, 3 Commerce Court <br />seeking relief from Section 151-12(H)(2)(a) of the Zoning Code to be able to install a <br />larger sign than allowed at 2622 South Avenue which is in an Office Business zone for <br />Vanacore, DeBenedictus, DiBovanni and Weddell. <br />Public hearing on the request of Domenico and Giuseppi Porco seeking the following <br />variances for renovations to Frank's Pizzeria – (1) Section 151-19(D)(3) – requires 5% <br />landscape area within a parking lot” - provide relief to allow 2.6% or interpret “landscape” <br />to allow inclusion of new central textured paver pedestrian sidewalk to achieve 9%. <br />?
