Mr. HovermYer reported this could be developed into a demonstration <br />plant which would give a lot of publicity to the Village and save <br />approximately 12,000 barrels of oil yearly, <br /> <br />Mayor Synnett reported plant should be utilized as same would help the <br />economy, <br /> <br />Mr. Hovermyer reported operation would be based on the lake level. <br /> <br />Mayor Synnett discussed proposed improvements for the lake and stated <br />Village was concerned with the maintenance of the Lake. <br /> <br />Mr. Hovermyer reported plant would be in operation within one <br /> <br />Tr. Schinella reported he was concerned with the level of the lake and <br />proposal seemed feasible. <br /> <br />Att. Lyons reported the Conservation Dept. contributed 7~ toward the <br />purchase of the Lake and any alterations would have to be approved by <br />their department. He stated two previous proposals were denied. <br /> <br />Atty. Lyons reported Village would have to know the amount of revenue <br />and the amount of energy produced as we could not give water pOWer away. <br />He stated some formula would have to be developed. <br /> <br />Mr. Hovermyer reparted this should be a percentage of the gross and ~hey <br />would have a record on tape. <br /> <br />Mr. Lyons reported we need so~e type of basic proposal to sub~it to the <br />State and Mr. Hovermyer replied they will investigate the average return <br />for water, <br /> <br />Another meeting scheduled for Oct. 27~ 1977 at 7~00 P.M. <br /> <br />Meeting closed 8:15 P.M. <br /> <br />Village Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
