<br />MINUTES OF PLANNING BOARD MEETING HELD AUGUST 7, 2008 <br /> <br />Present: Tom Morris, Chairman, Lisa Firstenberg, Vice Chair, John Chase, Don <br />McCormick, Kristina Costa, George Moran <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> John Fenton Jim Horan <br /> Jay Paggi Tony DeGelormo <br /> Dan Koehler Renato Pistolisi <br /> Steve Tinkleman Mike Novick <br /> Pete Ramputi Joseph Petinella <br /> Trustee Calabrese Mike Collier <br /> Maria Ceccacci Elisa Venezia <br /> Bob Feldman <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. Motion by Mr. McCormick to approve the <br />minutes from the July meeting as amended, seconded by Mr. Chase. Unanimously <br />carried. Ms. Firstenberg was absent from voting and Ms. Costa abstained as she was not <br />in attendance at the July meeting. <br /> <br />FRUIT STAND AT ASSOCIATED CARPET – ROUTE 9 <br />First on the agenda was the approval of the proposal to be able to display and sell fruits <br />and vegetables out of truck to be parked in the parking lot at Associated Carpet on Route <br />9. Mr. Morris stated that after the last meeting the applicants needed to do the <br />following: (1) property owner’s signature, (2) Peddler’s permit/vendor’s license, (3) <br />documentation from the owners of Brookside Management that they had permission to <br />use their water and (4) permission from New York State Department of Marketing and <br />Agriculture. Mr. Morris asked Mr. Fenton if these items had been taken care of and Mr. <br />Fenton stated yes they had. Mr. Moran brought up the fact that at the last meeting it was <br />questioned if this location meant there was two businesses on one parcel and if this was <br />against zoning. Mr. Fenton stated he is still waiting for an answer from our Attorney. <br />Mr. Morris stated that this is a GB zone and the ordinance allows two types of businesses <br />in that zone – similar to a strip mall. Mr. McCormick made a motion to allow the fruit <br />stand in the parking lot at Associated Carpet, seconded b Mr. Moran. Unanimously <br />carried. <br /> <br />LOU SNELL, 33 MCKINLEY STREET <br />Next on the agenda was the proposal from Lou Snell to redefine lot line between 33 <br />McKinley Street warehouse and new empty lot for W. F. Estuary. No one was present. <br /> <br />SHEAFE WOODS REALTY, LLC – HILLSIDE AVENUE/CHURCH STREET <br />Next on the agenda was the proposal from Sheafe Woods Realty, LLC to subdivide lot at <br />Hillside Avenue/Church Street into two lots. At this point Mr. Moran recused himself <br />from any involvement in this item as he is an adjacent property owner. Mr. McCormick <br />who previously owned the parcel stated he has sold the parcel to the applicants and he has <br />no ownership or interest in the property. Mr. Morris read into the record a letter from Mr. <br /> <br />
