Unanimously carded.

ADVANCED AUTO, ROUTE 9
First on the agenda was the proposal for a sign by Advanced Auto, Route 9. Applicant stated the
renderings he has given to the Board this evening was the signs they were granted variances for at the
July meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals. The new renderings show a 31' 8" building sign - above
entrance (applicant received a 1'8" variance for this sign) and a 12 ft. high monument sign. Applicant
also showed the Board the additional landscaping that was part of the new rendering. Mr. Morris asked
applicant for color samples of the red and yellow - he did not have them but would provide them for
files. Mr. Morris asked applicant the wattage of the bulbs and he answered - 20 amps each - which
would approximately be 20 watts - total draw of sign - and they are all fluorescent for the monument
sign and the building sign is the same except they are neon inside the white casings. At this point Mr.
Morris read the resolution from the ZBA dated July 13, 2006 (on copy in the Planning/Zoning offices).
It was stated signs would be on a timer and be shut off one hour after the close of business. It was also
stated applicant would be putt'rog no additional temporary signs in any of the windows. Mr. Morals
stated that if the Code Enforcement Officer or one of the Planning Board members make a
determination that the signs look excessively bright after the installation - they will be asked to come
back and lessen the wattage. At this point Mr. Moron made a motion to approve the sign as presented
contingent upon: (1) samples of the red and yellow being on file and (2) if need be - brightness of
