Applicant stated what they are looking to do
is to extend the facade 10 ft. above the existing facade and erect a sign in that facade.
Mr. Morals asked how this sign fell in line with the height of the roof and applicant
answered the new facade creates the new roof line. Mr. Morals asked applicant what
the total height of the sign would be when ftnished and applicant did not have that
information - Mr. Morris reminded him that no sign can be over 30 ft. high or above the
roof line. Mr. Alfonso made a motion to approve the new fagade/awning as presented,
seconded by Mr. Moran. Unanimously carried.

Next the sign was discussed - Applicants presented the Board with a sketch of the sign.
The Board reviewed the dimensions of the proposed sign - After calculating all of the
signage and subtracting out the black designs which equal 34 sq. ft. - the total amount of
signage is 196 sq. ft. - which just squeaks under the allowed 200 sq. ft. Applicant stated
that the building sign would be internally illuminated (channel letters) with very subtle
wattage. Mr. Moran made a motion to approve the sign as presented contingent upon
applicant supplying the Code Enforcement Officer with a sample of the green color and
also the wattage of the bulbs - motion seconded by Mr. Alfonso. Unanimously carried.
