MINUTES OF PLANNING BOARD MEETING HELD 8/4/05 <br /> <br />Present: Tom Morris, Chair, Rob Alfonso, Vice Chair, George Moran, Don <br />McCormick, Matt Alexander and Mary Ann Loncto, Secretary <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> Robert P. LeClerc <br /> Harry Terbush <br /> Jeremy Duckles <br /> Allen Firstenberg <br /> Bob Crenshaw <br /> Anthony Vetmno <br /> Ken Brownwell <br /> Jack Fedigan <br /> Daryl Juliano <br /> Bob Travis <br /> <br />Markose Paulose <br />Sarah TErbush <br />Douglas Frye <br />Don Swartz <br />Jeff Smith <br />Gene Ninnie <br />Lou Snell <br />Michele Grieg <br />Charles DelBene <br />Kevin Brutling <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Alfonso made a motion to approve the <br />minutes of the July 7, 2005 as amended seconded by Mr. Moran. Unanimously carried. <br />Minutes of the July 21, 2005 special meeting were postponed until the next meeting. <br /> <br />SACHDABOS RESTAURANT~ 2776 WEST MAIN STREET <br />First on the agenda was the appearance of Sachdabo's Restaurant, 2776 West Main Stxeet <br />to discuss their signs. It was stated that applicants had put in the application for a new <br />sign to the Zoning Enforcement Officer. Mr. Moran made a motion to accept the sign as <br />installed, seconded by Mr. Alfonso. Unanimously carried. Mr. Morris went on to state <br />that the Planning Board needed to legitimize the existing signage and now this is done. <br />Mrs. Juliano asked the Board how she could go about getting "no u turn signs" for their <br />property. Mr. Alfonso stated since it is just directional signs - applicant would just have <br />to bring a copy of the signs into the Zoning Enforcement Officer so he can note them on <br />the site plan. <br /> <br />DOLLAR PLUS, DUTC¥1ES SHOPPING PLAZA <br />Next on the agenda was the appearance of Dollar Plus for a new sign in the Dutchess <br />Shopping Plaza. He stated he was just going to replace the sign of the former Dollar <br />Guru - same size - the only difference would be his colors would be green and red. He <br />presented the Board with a sample of his colors. After review of the sign and <br />application - Mr. Alfonso made a motion to approve the sign as presented, seconded by <br />Mr. McCormick. Unanimously carded. <br /> <br />LECLERC'S MARTIAL ARTS STUDIO~ LAFAYETTE PLAZA <br />Next on the agenda was the informal appearance by LeClerc's Martial Arts Studio to be <br />able to use space in the Lafayette Plaza. They would be using the site where the former <br />Ultimate Fitness was located. They would be using 3,559 square feet. Mr. Morris stated <br />the use is acceptable and parking will not be an issue. Applicant presented the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
