MINUTES OF PLANNING BOA~ MEETING HELD 7/7/05 <br /> <br />Present: Tom Morris, Chairman, Rob Alfonso, Vice Chairman, George Moran, <br />Matt Alexander, Don McCormick and Mary Ann Loncto, Secretary <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> Lou Snell <br /> Mike Robinson <br /> Eileen Sassmann <br /> Jeff Smith <br /> Gene Ninnie <br /> Pat McNamee <br /> Shannon Martin <br /> <br />Don Swarm <br />Kevin Bmtting <br />Lisa Frietenberg <br />Natalie Smith <br />Jarrett Jones <br />Dave Stenger <br />Mark Day <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. Motion by Mr. Alfonso, seconded by Mr. <br />McCormick to accept the minutes of the June meeting as written. Unanimously carried. <br /> <br />SACHDABOS~ 2776 WEST MAIN STREET <br />First on the agenda was SacMabo's Restaurant, 2776 West Main Street to discuss a new <br />sign. Mr. Morris asked if anyone was present to represent the above - no one was <br />present. Mr. Morris stated in lieu of the fact that no one was present - clerk is to send a <br />letter to the Juliano's stating that this office has investigated the fees as mentioned at last <br />month's meeting and it was found that the fees were in line with the schedule of payment <br />- therefore when applicant's sign is approved - fees for that sign must be paid in full. <br />Mr. McCormick made a motion to send above letter, seconded by Mr. Moran. <br />Unanimously carried. <br /> <br />PLANET FITNESS, IMPERIAL PLAZA <br />Next on the agenda is the proposal for a sign for Planet Fitness in the Imperial Plaza. <br />Applicant is just taking down the former Gold's Gym sign and replacing with Planet <br />Fitness sign. The sign that was facing the road will be replaced with the same (channel <br />letters) - the one on the fi'ont of the building will be a yellow background with red letters <br />- color chip #2280. It was noted that the Gym would be open from Sunday at midnight <br />to Friday at 10:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. It was <br />determined by the Board that the sign is in conformance with the Zoning Ordinance - <br />therefore Mr. Alfonso made a motion to approve the sign contingent upon applicant <br />bringing in a color chip of#2280 Red and also the Yellow. Motion seconded by Mr. <br />Moran. Unanimously carried. <br /> <br /> Next the use was discussed. It was stated that the use would be the same as the <br /> previous use - the only difference would be the hours of operation. It was mentioned that <br /> Gold's Gym had a specific parking arrangement with Home Depot and the Board <br /> requested a copy of that arrangement for the files. Mr. Alfonso made a motion to <br />· approve the use as presented, seconded by Mr. McCormick. Unanimously carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
