Alfonso made a motion to accept the
minutes of the May 2005 meeting as written, seconded by Mr. Moran. Unanimously
carried.

SACHDABOS RESTAURANT~ 2776 WEST MAIN STREET
First on the agenda was the discussion with the Juliano family regarding their sign
(Sachdabo's) located at 2776 West Main Street. Mr. Chris Juliano represented his family
and asked the Planning Board "what was the deal?" Mr. Morris showed Mr. Juliano a
picture of the original sign proposal that was approved by the Planning Board and a
picture (taken by Member Moran) of the current sign which is not what was approved by
the Planning Board. Mr. Juliano stated what they did was take down the two individual
slats that were approved (and were actually smaller than what was approved) and were
the maroon color with white lettering and install a full sign (slightly smaller) that was
white with the maroon lettering. Mr. Morris stated what Mr. Juliano needed to do was to
file an application with the Plamfing Board of what is currently existing, Mr. Juliano
stated he felt his family deserved a "credit" on the building permit as he understands
other people have received. He also went on to state that his family installed blacktop
which was not part of the original minutes (even though he did admit it looked nice). Mr.
Juliano stated he did not feel his family needed to apply for a new permit for the sign.
Mr. Alfonso stated for the record that indeed the blacktop was prat of the original
approval - in fact Mr. Bob Juliano stated at that time that he needed additional time to be
able to install the blacktop, Again the "credit" was brought up. Mr. McCormick stated in
defense to the current Building Inspector - the "credit" that some citizens are receiving
was an error on the part of the former Building Inspector. Mr. Morris stated this
discussion is concerning the changing of the sign o~fly. Mr. Juliano stated he does not
mind filling out the appropriate paperwork for a new sign permit but he does resent the
fact that he will have to pay an additional fee.

Mr. Alfonso made a motion stating that Mr. Juliano will have to fill out a new application
before sign is approved and pay the fee that is due the Village - if after reviewing the
files a fee is due the Juliano family - the new fee will be offset by that credit. Motion
seconded by Mr. Moran. Unanimously carried.
