Word should be they would be <br />back ..... not she. Motion to approve the minutes as amended by Mr. Moran, seconded by <br />Mr. McCormick - Unanimously carried. <br /> <br />VERIZON WIRELESS, DUTCHESS SHOPPING PLAZA <br />Discuss temporary banners - No one from Verizon was present at the meeting. <br /> <br />EAST COAST SIGNS FOR RAYMOUR AND FLANAGAN, ROUTE 9 <br />Next on the agenda was the presentation by East Coast Signs with a proposal for signage <br />and also discuss the use of the property by Raymour and Flanagan. The proposal was for <br />two building signs and one flee standing sign. The pylon would have a new double face <br />and would be relamped. It would be the same size as the former Futurama sign. On the <br />building there would be two separate single faced signs. The total square footage of all <br />signs would be within the code - 63 sq. ft. for the road sign and a total of 354 sq. ft. for <br />the building sign. The wattage will be the same as the previous sign - jus new bulbs. <br />Mr. Alfonso stated that according to code - only two signs are allowed. If applicants <br />want to have three signs - they would have to get a variance for the tlfird sign. Applicant <br />decided to go with the road sign and the Raymour and Flanagan building sign and apply <br />for a variance for the Sleep Center sign. Mr. Moran made a motion to approve two signs <br />- main sign on building and road sign contingent upon applicants (1) completing <br />application and (2) if they choose to go to the ZBA for a variance for third sign - Zoning <br />Enforcement Officer will make sure all conforms to code. Motion seconded by Mr. <br />McCormick. Unanimously carried. <br /> <br />As a matter of formality the use was discussed - it is the same type of use - parking was <br />already reviewed by Planning Board previously.
