On roll call vote - Mr. <br />Alfonso - Aye, Mr. Morris - Aye, Mr. Moran - Aye, Mr. McCormick - Aye and Mr. <br />Alexander - Abstain. Changes were grammatical and did not change context of <br />minutes. <br /> <br />BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH~ 2607 SOUTH AVENUE <br />First on the agenda was the conceptual drawings for construction of a new (2) story with <br />mezzanine Church, a new 16 space parking area will be created with ingress on Prospect <br />Street and egress on Route 9D, renovation of the existing Church to house various <br />Church functions - the existing Church will receive an addition and a new 6 space <br />parking area will be constructed with ingress and egress on Route 9D. A film <br />presentation was shown by the applicant's architect - showing the construction of the <br />new building and the renovations to the existing building. Parking was discussed and <br />applicants were informed they would have to mitigate the parking situation. Applicants <br />were also informed they would have to establish a escrow account and file a long form <br />EAF with their formal presentation. Both buildings would be treated separately. It was <br />suggested that applicant break the buildings down by use to try to accommodate as many <br />on site parking spaces as needed. It was also stated that the Planning Board would write <br />a favorable letter to the ZBA (seems like a parking variance and special use permit are <br />needed). The Planning Board felt the project as a whole was good for the Village but <br />many matters needed to be taken care of. Applicant also stated they would be having a <br />neighborhood meeting to discuss the plans with the property owners on the streets that <br />would be impacted. <br /> <br />PHARMACY/SURGICAL SUPPLY STORE~ 2554 SOUTH AVENUE, SUITE 1 <br />Next on the agenda was the proposal from Mayur J. Patel to open a pharmacy/surgical <br />supply store at 2554 South Avenue, Suite 1. Mr. Patel stated he would be opened from <br />Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from <br />9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The use is primarily a drug store.
