MINUTES OF PLANNING BOARD MEETING HELD 3/4/04 <br /> <br />Present: Tom Morris, Chair, Rob Alfonso, Vice Chair, Matt Alexander, Don <br />McCormick and Mary Ann Loncto, Secretary <br /> <br />Absent: George Moran <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> Marion Snizck <br /> Jack Fedigan <br /> Alfred Capelli <br /> Steven Constable <br /> Chris Scott <br /> Ariane DeVizio <br /> Sue Strauch <br /> Sherrill McDermott <br /> Richard Kennedy <br /> <br />Louis Snell <br />Charlie DelBene <br />Gary Leonard <br />Crys McCurin <br />Steve DeVizio <br />Mike Strauch <br />Gerardo Diaz <br />Gwen Freeman <br />Mike Witkowski <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Alfonso made a motion to approve both the <br />January and February minutes as amended and recorded by secretary, seconded by Mr. <br />McCormick. Unanimously carried. <br /> <br />CHUCK AND GERRY'S SPORTS BAR AND GRILL, 1060 ROUTE 9 <br />First on the agenda was the proposal for a new sign at the above. Applicant presented the <br />Board with a color sketch of the sign plus samples for the colors. She stated the only <br />thing she is doing is to replace the "face pieces" of the former End Zone signs. The sign <br />will remain in the exact location and the size is not changing. Mx. Alfonso made a <br />motion to approve the sign - replacing existing "End Zone" faces, motion seconded by <br />Mr. McCormick. Unanimously carried. <br /> <br />LOU SNELL FOR CONDEMNED BUILDING IN THE INDUSTRIAL PARK <br /> <br />Next on the agenda was an informal appearance by Mr. Lou Snell to discuss condemned <br />building in the Industrial Park. Applicant stated what he wants to do is to subdivide the <br />building into three separate buildings at the building level. He stated he has three <br />perspective leasers and/or buyers for the spaces. He went on to state that the buildings <br />are condemned and at the present time cannot be used. He stated his main concerns are <br />(1) the condemned status being removed to allow safe viewing, (2) mitigating the parking <br />issue and (3) reviewing the survey for the new bridge because according to his survey <br />access to the bridge is on his property. He stated he did not own the property when the <br />bridge was installed and went on to state that the road and right of way for the bridge will <br />have to be adjusted. Adjacent property owner Jack Fedigan was in the audience and he <br />stated that he and Mr. Snell will get together and discuss this issue. Mr. Snell also stated <br />that he owns the parcel adjacent to the condemned building and he feels there may be <br />some mitigation for parking relie£ Mr. Morris stated this is something that would have <br />to be addressed with easements and a legal document and reviewed by Village Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
