Munoz <br /> Jonathan Chung <br /> Joseph Guarino <br /> Armand Alfonso <br /> Judy Morris <br /> Mike Choppa <br /> Tung Jin Zhang <br /> <br />Tom Walsh <br />John Zambrano <br />Louis Ferreiro <br />Will Paltridge <br />Don McCormick <br />Mike Monday <br />Bill Blake <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:30p. m. <br /> <br />STARRS OAK FURNITURE~ IMPERIAL PI. dLZA <br />First on the agenda was the application of Starr's Oak Furniutre located in the Imperial <br />Plaza proposing a sign on the side of the Rite Aid Building in the Imperial Plaza. <br />Applicant presented Board with a color copy of sign and also samples of the color. <br />Permission from property owner was on file. Mr. Alfonso stated in the past Mr. Visentin <br />had made a point to owners of the Plaza stating no more signs on the side of the Rite AM <br />Building. Secretary was asked to research this for members of the Board. Applicant <br />stated he had been granted approval from the ZBA far an area variance for the size of the <br />sign. Mr. Alfonso made a motion to approve the sign as presented, seconded by Mr. <br />Moran contingent upon secretary researching verbiage from past meetings regarding <br />side of Rite Aid Building. Unanimously carried <br /> <br />D. MUNOZ, 2551 EAST MAIN STREET <br />Next on the agenda was the proposal of Mr. D. Munoz with a proposed messenger <br />service to/from Mexico and sale of dry goods at 2551 East Main Street. Mr. Munoz <br />explained his proposal through Mr. Zambrano. He stated he would also have certain <br />types of clothing in the store. It will be an operation similar to "Mailboxes." The largest <br />vehicle that would be used in the business would be a Van. You cannot bet to the back of <br />the building through the alley. There is a common drive that goes to the rear of the <br />building. There will be no cooking on site. The way this will work is that packages will <br />be at the site - go to New York City - then shipped onto Mexico and coming back will be <br />the same. The packages will be monitored through Immigration/Customs services. At <br />this point all signs will be inside the window. Applicant stated he will not be making any <br />renovations to the building. He was reminded that the Board is in the process of redoing <br />the sign ordinance and there will be a percentage of how much of your window you can <br />cover with signs. Applicant was also reminded that he would have to get a Certificate of <br /> <br /> <br />
