MINUTES OF PLANNING BOARD MEETING HELD AUGUST 2t 2001 <br /> <br />Present: Tom Visentin, Chair, Tom Morris, Joe Consentino, Rob Alfonso, John <br />Karge and Mary Ann Bolander, Secretary <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> Trustee Davis <br /> George Kolb <br /> Dawna Chase <br /> Lori Sucich <br /> Eileen Sassmann <br /> <br />Mike Kocan <br />Bob Travis <br />Judy Morris <br />Shahid Javid <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:35p. m. Mr. Morris made a motion to amend the <br />minutes of the July meeting as follows: Page Z Second sentence under Kocan should <br /> "A F <br />read, pp zcant stated sign would not be illuminated at the present time ........ "Motion <br />seconded by Mr. Alfonso. Unanimously carried. <br /> <br /> LORI SUCICH FOR 2644 EAST MAIN STREET <br />First on the agenda was the sign permit applicaton for Lori Sucich for Travel <br />Connections. Board reviewed the permit and applicant stated the post for the sign would <br />be approximately 6fl. There will actually be two signs - one for Travel Agency on top <br />and one for limo service on bottom. Signs will be wood with gold writing. Signs will not <br />be illuminated but eventually there will be a spotlight on the ground shining on sign. Mr. <br />Morris made a motion to approve the proposed signs, seconded by Mr. Alfonso. <br />Unanimously. At this time Mr. Viaentin stated he feels something should be tntt in the <br />minutes regarding the limousine business that will be operating from the travel agency. <br />It was stated that the limousine business is a related business to the travel agency and <br />therefore is acceptable to the Board. Mr. Visentin made a motion stating that the Board <br />has reviewed the proposed usage i.e., travel agency and limousine service and the Board <br />has no objection. Therefore as far as the Planning Board is concerned the Zoning <br />Enforcement Officer can issue the Certificate of Occupancy. Motion seconded by Mr. <br />Alfonso. Unanimously carried. <br /> <br /> JOHNNIES STOREt 91 WEST MAIN STREET <br />Applicant did not show up for the meeting but it was stated that the sandwich sign he has <br />in the front of his building cannot be put where he has it. It is in the DOT right of way <br />and he needs to put it back against the building on his own property. If he wants to put <br />up a temporary sign - that is the jurisdiction of the Zoning Enforcement Officer. No <br />further discussion was held because applicant did not show up. <br /> <br />INDIAN PAKISTANIAN GROCERY STORE, 1568 ROUTE 9, <br />Next on the agenda was the proposal for an Indian Pa~'stanian grocery store and kosher <br />meat at 1568 Route 9. Mr. Shaid Javit, the applicant stated he will be operating where <br />the former Barry Dinettes was housed. Applicant stated he will not be preparing food on <br />site. There would be slicing and cutting of meats on site. No making sandwiches or <br /> <br /> <br />
